Very tasty lentil soup, huge burger, tasty meat. The only thing that I would change is the potato chips. They are too thin. With such a big burger, huge chips would do better. Prices are reasonable!

Had some delicious crepes (particularly the breakfast crepe) and the service was brilliant. Very friendly and helpful!

Nice and cosy place, ideal for a relaxed coffee or something to eat. Coffee and pastries are fresh, with simple ingredients and tasty (they don't try to beat the super packed, a thousand ingredients mixes that you find in high street coffee places). Being on the Royal Mile, you may find it a bit expensive but don't miss it. I'ts worth it.

We went here for a very late breakfast recently and the veggie cooked breakfast was just what we needed. It was great that i came with veggie haggis ad potato scone which we appreciated as tourists. It was well cooked and a good sized portion, I would definitely go there again if I lived locally.

Popped in for a hot drink and breakfast roll after kilt shopping this morning. We were seated quickly and orders taken promptly. The bacon roll had 3 rashers of bacon, and there was 2 fried eggs on the other. Plus the rolls themselves were warm which I always find makes a difference somehow. The Nutella hot chocolate was yummy too, Quite a small place and not a lot of room between the tables but saying that it was cosy. Prices were very reasonable considering we were down the Royal Mile. Would definitely recommend.

Wandered in here by accident, and it was certainly worth the visit, a hidden gem in Edinburgh. Staff very professional and great service. Food was delicious, served hot and very tasty. Paid a visit to the toilet and was amazed at the decor, shining like a new pin, and state of the art fixtures.

My husband and I visited this cafe in the afternoon after a lot of walking and were enticed bu the fill Scottish breakfast. It was perfectly cooked and just the right size, a lovely way for us to try Haggis as well, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Liked it so much we came back the morning after for breakfast, my husband had the breakfast again and i opted for the breakfast crepe - yummy! Would definitely recommend.

Atmosphere is great, food is really good, especially with the all day breakfast. Just wished I could try the crepes because they looked really really good. Definitely a fan of the postcard-pillar. The pricing was also decent for the area and what they had to offer
